Natalie Portman talks Star Wars

IESB were able to get a short interview with Natalie Portman at the premiere of the new Julia Roberts movie "Closer" where she had a nude scene which has been deleted in the final cut and which will never make it on any version of the film. Natalie talked also a bit about the last epsiode of Star Wars and why she is happy to move on.

Evil Dead again

Sam Raimi wants to do a remake of 1982's classic horror movie "Evil Dead". Raimi will not write or direct the remake but is currently looking for a director to take the project through development.

Long time no see. And I almost forgot about a nice site I found last week. Take a look at flickr. You can get an account for free there and upload 10 MB of pictures every month. If I recognize correctly you have 1 GB space available, but I can't find that info right now. There are some nice features available like an organizer and tags. If you sign up for a pro-account you have 1 GB upload limit.

JoBlo.com, again, has some news on the upcoming Star Wars movie "Revenge of the Sith". There are new pictures available at StarWars.com including biographies on everyone involved, their profiles, homeworlds, favorite weapons, etc... Lots of neat peeps to check out, including friggin' Darth Vader himself.

Poll's over - nothing changes

The poll I started a few weeks ago is over now. As it seem's most people are not interested in a german version of this blog. Webserver's logfiles show that most visitors are from outside Germany. That's why I will keep this weblog in english.

Salma Hayek becomes a Pirate

Just got that info at JoBlo's that a scooper has mentioned some interesting news about the sequel of "Pirates of the Caribbean" which is referred as "POTC - Treasures of the Lost Abyss". He mentioned that shooting begins after Christmas and that Salma had joined the cast. He also tells that Keith Richards has been confirmed to play Jack Sparrow's father. IMDB has 2006 as year of release.

South Park against Lucas

I just saw an episode of South Park where they make fun of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg for re-releasing Lucasfilm movies. In the episode they fight for stopping a re-release of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and they use the final scene of the Indy film for the special premiere of the new release.
I never thought that South Park is fun, but this episode had a great message.
