Welcome back, Sara Gilbert

Last friday the third episode of the new sitcom "Twins" with Sara Gilbert and Molly Stanton has been aired on WB. Sara plays the role of Mitchee Arnold, manager of a lingerie company. Her father, an underwear manufacturer and retired boss of that company, married the former underwear model (played by Melanie Griffith) and this leads into mismatched twins who take over his company in the pilot. Twins

As Robert Bianco wrote in an USA Today article the show is not very good at creating believable situations or characters, but Sara Gilbert saves the show.

Interesting fact is that Sara Gilbert again plays a young attractive woman, who has been a tomboy in her childhood. When closing one and a half eyes it seems that Darlene Conner Healy might has been adopted by Alan Arnold (Mark Linn-Baker) in the late 90s.

More interesting info about the new sitcom and/or Sara Gilbert is available here, here, here and here.

"Twins" never will become as famous as "Roseanne", but it still is a good show and while most of the cast has a bit too much comedian characters Sara is the one and only who makes that show interesting to stay at home friday night and watch it.

As a longtime Sara Gilbert fan I am glad to see that she is back on the screen again. Even if I have been too busy to update my fanpage since five years, it's a fact that we grew up together and I always will care about what Sara does. (Before anybody sends me emails to pass them Sara's address: I don't know her. What I meant by "we grew up together" was that I watched "Roseanne" from the first to the last episode when it came on TV and it felt like to grow up in the Connor family.)

I am really looking forward to see Sara in more productions again, because even though she again plays a tomboy character, she proves that she really is a great actress and it is fun watching her.
